NKOMAZI – One of Nkomazi’s born soccer legends has made the dreams of fifteen young Nkomazi soccer players come true. Born in Langeloop, Makhosini Ndlovu has taken all the squad that won the inte –municipal games in Swaziland to play for his team. Ndlovu who owns Benoni Premier United was convinced with the talent from the Nkomazi players. United is now campaigning in the Vodacom league. This comes after Ndlovu sold his status in the Mvela Golden league to Thanda Zulu, and is now tying to build a fresh blood. “I’m from Nkomazi and I’ve played most of my games in Nkomazi. Therefore I want the talent in Nkomazi to be seen by other people” said Ndlovu. Ndlovu took this initiative after the boys impressed him at Ntunda and he promised to take them with him to Benoni and he did. Last Thursday the squad played two games with Jomo Cosmos, losing the first and drawing the second time around. A team member Nicholas Sibiya stated that they lost the first game because they were tired after traveling from Nkomazi. Ndlovu also outlined that he is confident in the whole squad and will take them all to Benoni Premier United. “With these guys I want to produce July Mahlangu and Tsepo Masilela like we did before. And I can see the talent is there it just needs to be unearthed,” said Ndlovu. Ndlovu also said that if one of the teams wants some players he will give, but not more than three as that may hinder his plans of having a complete team. He also acknowledged the discipline they have compared to the boys in Benoni, “Here the boys are having the talent but because of drugs they turn to loose it, but boys from Nkomazi are very disciplined they don’t do drugs,” he added. |
