DRIEKOPPIES – All is set and ready for the final of the 2010 Selati Super Cup at Driekoppies stadium this Saturday. This 6th final is the most anticipated as the prize has increased. Soccer fanatics are waiting to see who will be 60 000 Rand richer after they are crowned champions for the 2010 Inyanongotela6. The increment from Iyanongotela5’ s R55 000 boosted the tournament’s favor. This weekend we will see the 2007 Selati Super Cup champions and popular Schoemansdal Junior Aces locking horns with the reformed Block A Naughty Boys in the highly anticipated final match. Naughty Boys coach Walter Sambo assured soccer lovers that his team is mentally and physical prepared to lift the lucrative Selati Super Cup. He also said that he is doing this for the N k o m - azi East teams and players who have not seen any of their teams lifting the Sweet Selati for the previous 5 years. “This game is going to be a history for us, we tried to do it in the last episode but we bowed along the way. Now that we reached the finals all is well, the Cup is crossing the Nkomazi River to Block A. What ever it takes for us to lift the Selati is all in place,” boasted Sambo. Meanwhile over the moon Junior Aces’ Douglas Shongwe, who won the 2007’s R30 000 first price in the hands of Mangweni Manchester, is not worried about Naughty Boy’s electrifying play. “They are all ours! One special thing about Junior Aces is that we don’t lose finals. These are just young Boys they must be happy that they will enjoy playing the finals of the high paying popular tournament, for people to know Junior Aces I didn’t buy it,” said Shongwe. Both teams reached the finals after clashes all last weekend. Aces got to the semis after humiliating Mawewe Chiefs by three goals to nil at Naas on Saturday. Naughty Boys made it to the semis after a disappointing one goal to nil against Mashaba United also at Naas stadium. Naughty Boys continued by winning on Sunday when they granted Phiva Young Stars an exit on Sunday. Respectively Aces knocked the Township Boys KaMhlushwa Vultures on penalties at KaMhlushwa stadium. Both coaches could not hide their joy after advancing to the finals of the special 2010 Iyanongotela6.
