Soccer fanatics are waiting to see who will be 60 000 Rand richer after they are crowned champions for the 2010 Inyanongotela6. The increment from Iyanongotela5’ s R55 000 boosted the tournament’s favor.

DRIEKOPPIES – Driekoppies Mbokodo Wonderous has advanced to the Castle Lite elite league.

Wonderous has joined the 4 Nkomazi teams that are campaigning in the Castle Lite leage which are Buffelspruit All Blacks, Mangweni Manchester, Block C Blue Birds and KaMhlushwa Vultures.

JEPPES REEF – Jeppes Reef Shongwe Chiefs FC held their championship party celebration last Saturday. Team owner Bridget Moyane said the party was to thank the players and everyone that played a role in bringing home the lucrative R55 000 they won last year. Chiefs thumbed Mangweni LTD at Driekoppies stadium to be crowned the 2009 Selati champions.

JEPPES REEF – Jeppes Reef Shongwe Chiefs head coach Aaron Shongwe has recently promised to defend the Selati Super Cup.

Shongwe was speaking to the Nkomazi Voice as the 2010 “Iyanongotela6”, which is the only lucrative and well-known and supported Nkomazi tournament, will kick start on 27 February 2010.
