Procrastination, the thief of time
Friday, 12 March 2010 00:00

It’s funny how time fies. Just when we were still on honeymoon, with all the fanfare surrounding the magical 2010, the frst quarter of the year is almost gone.

Those that have procrastinated essential engagements, hoping for a better tomorrow are beating themselves for time wasted. It is against this background that we wish to make a rallying call to learners to use time effciently as it is a precious and irreplaceable commodity.

Putting away tasks that should otherwise be performed today is as risky as it is self-defeatist. If time is used as well as it should be used there would be less of the last minute jostling that characterizes end-of-year studies.

The same goes for each one of us. The world would be a better place  if we all endeavoured to stick to set schedules.
