NKOMAZI – The Khulangwane SADTU emerged as the top in last week’s games. The team, which is dominated by teachers organized by Mr. Thulani Nhlapho, exposed many teams in the friendly and gambling matches. Last Wedne sday they played in Koma r t i p o o r t a g a i n s t a team f r o m s o c i a l s e r v i c - es and S A D T U thumb e d social serves by three goals to two. T h u r s d a y t h e y went to lock horns against the Ka- Mhlushwa branch of Church on the Heal. Again, SADTU humiliated the sons of God by 6 to 1. Last Sunday, they played in a tournament at Buffelspruit where they faced Boxer Supermarket Schoemansdal branch and Buffelspruit social team, where they were beat 3 to 2. Nhlapho expressed that their will is to leave a legacy to children that sports are a place where you can find peace and health.
Nhlapho advised other circuits’ teams to play as it is an opportunity to build comradeship while having fun. “Playing these games helped us a lot because some of our colleagues are now as healthy as horses. It’s an easy way to lose weight for those who are overweight,” advised Nhlapho.
Last year this team went to Swaziland and Mozambique to play against their fellow teachers. They were happy to play in those games, as it allowed them to build friendships with our neighboring countries.
