SCHOEMANSDAL – Young players from Score Cup of Heroes collectively gathered clothes and gave to needy children at Thembalethu Home Based Care. According to the players, helping the community is part of their rules and they are honored to have helped in Thembalethu.

“I know how cold it is this time of the year, I believe these clothes will help them to overcome the chilly weather,” said one of the players, Abednego Matsebula.

Wendy Ngubane of Thembalethu thanked the initiative taken by the young players, “Its unusual to see black people giving to these kids, in most cases only whites are helping them especially with clothes. These ones are not rags but beautiful clothes which will make them proud to wear them,” said Ngubane.

She also said that what makes them to further their acknowledgement is that the people who are giving are also young, “I believe other young people will learn from the Score Cup Of Heroes, because this will make them respectable citizens,” added Ngubane.
