![]() Thobile Malindisa We are responding to the many cases of abuse against women and the challenges of teenage pregnancies. We want women to take charge of their lives by way of defending themselves against any form of abuse. This we hope to achieve by constantly engaging learners in different schools, especially girls because they are mostly the victims abuse. We are also talking to women in general, encouraging them to turn the tide against abuse by reporting these cases. The race is also making a statement to the effect that women need to take charge of their physical wellbeing,” she said. ![]() Thabile Mabaso Constable Mzwandile Nyambi, spokesperson for Tonga SAPS, had this to say: “We have always supported women and we will continue to do so whether it is in celebration of Women’s month or not. We encourage them to continue to challenge injustices which are meted to them by society.” |
