PHIVA- A man, of approximately 40 years old, was killed when he was hit by a car while cycling to work on Monday at about 05:00am.

The deceased was hit by a blue Nissan 1400 bakkie which came up behind him and hit him when he was trying to cross the road. The driver stopped and reported the matter to Tonga police who are still investigating how the accident occurred. The driver of the car has not been arrested.
