I salute of Nkomazi Voice forum readers in the name that is above all names, the name of Jesus Christ.

I was flabbergasted by the by the editor of Afrikaans newspaper, Rapport, for firing a columnist named Deon Maas. Deon Maas wrote the now infamous article about Satanism, he wrote that Satanism is a religion like other religions. It must be protected by the constitution like other religions. This man must be nuts, reading the book of Ezekiel, I get a different version about the devil, contrary to what he has written. If South Africa, like it has done in the past (Passing laws that are ungodly), can recognise Satanism as a religion, then we are doomed to follow Gomorrah and Sodom.

Our bill of rights has passed a law that states that no person should be discriminated because of homosexuality, transgender and bisexual. This is the beginning, the time we come where public schools will be forced to portray this evil in a positive way. The upper echelons of our governments needs to be reminded that this is a democratic country (Intsandvo yelinyenti), It is not Intsandvo yelinyenti that homosexual, transgender, and bisexual be allowed in the Republic. I have done a spot research on that. Even our president in waiting, Jacob Zuma contended saying that during his time a gay (Ungxingili) would never have stood before him. ‘Abezoyiphosa ekhanda induku.’

This leaves much to be desired about a direction the world (Our country) is taking, I attended a wedding in Kwa Mashu on Saturday where one religious leader said 2010 is a great revival of the devil, a good preparations for the great tribulation. Then about Maas, I am glad about the re action from the public, threatening to boycott the paper. It reminds me of the Muslim community (I am not sure if it is last year), where they evaded the streets condemning a journalist from Denmark who disregarded their God. I was also reading about Orthodox Jews in Israel, it reminded me of Swaziland under Sobhuza 2. He recognised Christianity as the only religion, having learnt from a vision saw by Sobhuza 1 (aka Somhlolo).

I did Afrikaans in High school, but I have not understood the original version of his column, I have grasp it from some journalist who went on a mile to translate it, telling its content to Nkomazi Voice readers will mean that I am promoting it. It is better to cure or reprimand the situation than continue telling the public about this innuendo. I have written this not intending to hurt any persona; I do not care about political correctness in that regard, thus unapologetic.

Regards,
Sabelo Mkhwanazi
