Learners happy that destroyed classes to be renovated
Mdladla primary school’s roof was damaged by heavy cyclone last year
MDLADLA- The Ehlanzeni department of education has promised to renovate ten classes at Mdladla primary school which were demolished by a heavy storm which nearly claimed lives of the learners in October last year.

Preliminary findings showed that the storm damaged the school roof in four classes, but the department promised to renovate ten.

The school headmistress, Sibongile Sambo said she received a letter on Monday this week. . “I received a letter on Monday from the circuit manager. The letter stated that the renovation is on process to take place,” said Sambo smiling.

One of the school pupils, Ndazi Mathonsi, said she is extremely jubilant about the renovation. “We were learning in an appalling state of classrooms, so now tears of joy will flow as the entire situation is behind us,” said Mathonsi.
