MALALANE - Easy transportation and improved roads are on the roll in Mpumalanga Province’s rural areas. MEC for the department of Roads and Transport David Mabuza donated 550 bicycles and 8 road maintenance graders to rural municipalities. Nkomazi local municipality was given 2 graders in the past month at the Nkomazi municipality premises in Malalane, Nkomazi sub-region in Mpumalanga.
KAMHLUSHWA - Suzan Masina, 28, was allegedly robbed of her belongings on Friday at about 20:50 by two unknown men armed with knives.
She was robbed of her brown bag that contained many things including a Motorola V360 cell phone, a wallet with R350 cash, a bus tag and bank cards and some clothes.
They then attempted to rape her but she was lucky because she was helped by a passerby who rescued her.
According to the victim one of them grabbed her while the other suspect forcefully took the bag.
