BUFELSPRUIT - Ebuhleni Holiness Union Church held a fundraising concert last Saturday in Buffelspruit. The fundraising concert was conducted by one of the best South African gospel musicians, Hlengiwe Mhlaba. According to one of the church’s stewards, Miss Pumzile Mnisi, the fundraising was aimed to finish the church’s structure, including roofing. “We saw that if we bring a top artist our fundraising will be a success. People will come for the artist, while we charge them for entering,” said Mnisi.

The church saw entrances of people from as far as Nelspruit and also giving the word of God was Pastor Nigros Manana from Ligwalagwala FM.

Mhlaba commented that the congregants who gave an offering to the church will be blessed in life. “If you’re with God you’re rich. Giving with the little that you have, you’re shaking the doors and the windows of heaven, therefore you’ll be blessed according to your offerings,” said Mhlaba. Mhlaba’s performance kept the congregants on toes.
